How FieldVoice, Connex, and PatientVoice Actually Fit Together

You do not need all three Medismo products to benefit from one, but they do reinforce each other when you need more.

By Team Medismo•Product

We get some version of this question in almost every sales conversation now: if we buy one of your products, do we end up needing all three? The honest answer is no, but it helps to explain how they actually connect, because the connections are real even though each product stands on its own.

Three different buyers, three different jobs

FieldVoice is bought by pharma companies to manage their own field reps. It captures visit notes by voice, so a rep talks instead of types after a doctor visit, and that data flows into the pharma company's own reporting. It has nothing to do with hospitals directly.

Connex is bought by pharma companies and used by hospitals together, to schedule and verify doctor meetings without the phone-tag that used to eat up a rep's week. A rep's FieldVoice-logged visit and a Connex-scheduled meeting can describe the same real-world event, but the products do not require each other to function.

PatientVoice is the one product that depends entirely on another. It is only available to hospitals already running Connex, because it reads the discharge and follow-up data that Connex already holds. There is no PatientVoice without Connex underneath it.

Where the overlap actually helps

A pharma rep using FieldVoice logs a visit to a doctor. That same doctor may also appear inside Connex if the hospital they practice at uses it for meeting scheduling. If that hospital's patient goes through a procedure connected to that visit, PatientVoice can pick up the discharge and follow-up reminders automatically.

None of this requires a customer to buy all three. A pharma company with no hospital relationships has no reason to touch Connex or PatientVoice. A hospital with no pharma-meeting friction has no reason to adopt Connex. But for the accounts where all three intersect, mostly larger hospital networks with active pharma relationships, the products reinforce each other without any manual data entry connecting them.

We built it this way on purpose. Each product has to earn its own adoption on its own merits. The fact that they fit together when a customer happens to need more than one of them is a bonus, not the pitch.
