Introducing PatientVoice: WhatsApp Follow-Up for Hospitals on Connex
PatientVoice is live: WhatsApp discharge reminders and follow-up check-ins for every hospital already on Connex.
Today we are launching PatientVoice: a WhatsApp-based follow-up companion for hospitals already running Connex.
We have talked in earlier posts about the problem that led here. Hospitals using Connex for structured doctor-pharma engagement kept telling us about a separate gap: patients who disappear between discharge and their follow-up appointment. PatientVoice is our answer, and it is available starting today for every hospital on Connex.
What it does
PatientVoice sends discharge instructions, medication reminders, and follow-up check-ins directly over WhatsApp, in Hindi and regional languages, timed to each patient's actual discharge and appointment schedule pulled straight from Connex.
- •Reminders go out automatically once a doctor visit and discharge note are logged in Connex
- •Messages are delivered in the patient's preferred language, not just English
- •If a patient misses a scheduled follow-up or does not respond to a check-in, PatientVoice flags it for hospital staff, so a real person can make a phone call before the gap becomes a missed diagnosis
- •There is no separate app for patients to download and no new dashboard for hospital staff to learn
Who it is for, and who it is not for
PatientVoice is an add-on, available only to hospitals already on Connex. We built it this way deliberately. It is not a standalone patient engagement platform, and we are not trying to compete with the appointment-booking and records-management systems hospitals already run. It does one job: keep patients from falling through the cracks after they leave the building.
Getting started
Hospitals already on Connex can turn PatientVoice on directly from their existing account, no new contract or integration project required. Onboarding takes about a week, most of it spent confirming which regional languages a hospital's patient base needs.
We built FieldVoice for pharma field teams and Connex for structured doctor engagement. PatientVoice is the third piece, and by design the smallest one. We think that is exactly the right size for what it needs to do.
