Introducing Connex: Structured Doctor-Pharma Engagement
Connex is live: doctors publish free calendar slots, pharma teams book verified visits, and every interaction is compliant by design.
Today we are launching Connex, a structured scheduling and verification layer for doctor-pharma engagement, built specifically for how field interactions actually need to work under UCPMP 2024.
The idea is straightforward. Doctors publish open calendar slots for the time they are willing to give to pharma engagement. Medical reps book a confirmed slot instead of hoping for a hallway conversation. The visit itself, whether in-person or virtual, is verified rather than self-reported, and the resulting record is structured well enough to hand directly to a compliance team.
How a visit works on Connex
- •A doctor opens their calendar and marks available windows, with full control to close them at any time
- •A rep from a pharma company books a slot against that window, and the booking is confirmed on both sides before it counts as scheduled
- •In-person visits are verified through a GPS-checked, time-boxed QR scan at the clinic, so the record reflects a visit that provably happened at the stated place and time
- •Virtual visits happen through a built-in video call, with consent captured from both the doctor and the rep before the interaction is logged
- •Our AI listens to the interaction and extracts structured visit notes along with any compliance flags, so nothing depends on a rep's memory or a hastily filled form afterward
- •Verified visit data pushes automatically, via webhook, into whichever CRM the pharma team already runs, including FieldVoice, Veeva, Salesforce, and Zoho
The part we think matters most
Doctors never pay for Connex, and that is not a temporary launch offer. Pharma companies buy credits and are only charged for visits that complete and verify. If a slot is booked but the visit never happens, or verification fails, no credit is spent. We built the pricing this way because a scheduling layer that charges doctors, directly or indirectly, will never get the adoption it needs to be useful to anyone.
Connex has been in development and pilot testing for months, built around the reality that India's binding pharma marketing code rewards companies who can prove their field interactions were compliant, not just companies who claim they were. We think this is the first product that gives compliance teams that proof by default rather than by exception, and we are opening it up starting today.
